“9 and a Half Weeks” (1986), dir. Adrian Lyne

30-year-old divorcee Elizabeth works at an art gallery in New York. While shopping, she accidentally meets handsome John. The next meeting is being arranged by the man. Gradually, he draws Elizabeth into an increasingly dangerous game of erotic provocations and addictions. This is how a perverse relationship is created, in which each of them looks for answers in the partner to their own desires and fantasies.

Although this film did not win the recognition of critics (or rather only nominations for the golden Malin), viewers still remember the bold erotic scenes and the song “You Can Leave Your Hat On” performed by Joe Cocker.

“Carefully, Desire” (2007), dir. Ang Lee

The 30s of the last century. Young members of the underground resistance movement are planning an attack on the police chief, Mr. Yee, who cooperates with the invader. They devise a plan, and the key role is played by shy student Wong. It is supposed to seduce Mr. Yee, weaken his vigilance and thus make an easy target. Despite her fears and inhibitions, the girl takes on the task. From an innocent provincial girl, she turns into a sophisticated, big-city beauty with sex appeal. The victim falls into an intricately woven net, but not everything goes as planned. The fascination turns out to be mutual.

“Bridgertons” (1 season)
