The best comedies on Netflix. What comedy is worth watching on Netflix? In the evening you sit on the couch, start Netflix in search of a good movie, browse, browse, check rankings, reviews, look at trailers. Half an hour passes – and the film is still not selected! Time is shrinking, the tea is getting cold, the wine glass is empty, the child will wake up soon, and you will look like a zombie again in the morning, because selecting a movie takes almost as much as watching it … Do you know that?
I know it too well. It’s easier with series – you choose once and then you have peace of mind for a few evenings. But sometimes it’s fun to watch a movie, right? That’s why I came up with the idea of ​​preparing a list of cool movies that are available on Netflix and HBO – comedies on Netflix go first. I have more genres and HBO in the plan 🙂
I have already watched some of these movies, some are still waiting for a calmer evening. The list is actually open, I’d love to add your suggestions to it, so if you’ve watched a good movie on Netflix or HBO recently – let me know. Not necessarily a comedy.

1. Like Father
A bit of comedy, a bit of manners, but above all a great film that is very pleasant to watch and leaves you in a good mood. I highly recommend!
2. Opiekun (The Fundamentals of Caring)
Funny, warm, but most of all a true film about friendship, courage and independence. It’s really worth watching!
3. Climbing (L’ascension)
A surprisingly funny French comedy about a young boy who, wanting to impress a girl, decides to conquer Mount Everest. Will he succeed? And what will he learn along the way? A very positive movie.
4. The Bucket List
“The story of two dying men who, under the influence of crazy adventures, become friends.” A great movie – funny, touching, it stays in your memory for a long time. I highly recommend!
5. Hector and the Search for Happiness
Funny and beautifully made film about a psychiatrist who goes on a trip around the world to find out what happiness is and how to find it.
6. The African Doctor (Welcome to Marly-Gomont)
A very interesting, warm and fun movie based on a true story. “A Congolese doctor escapes from the dictatorship to a small town in France. The man tries to gain the trust of the local community. “
7. Eurovision Song Contest: History of Fire Saga
Crazy, incredible comedy for all fans of the Eurovision song contest and more. Light, fun and really fun.
8. Crazy, Stupid, Love
High grades, nice movie. “Cal Weaver’s perfect life falls apart when he learns that his wife is cheating on him. After several dozen years, he dates again. Young Jacob helps him in this. “
9. The Intern
A nice, funny comedy with the reliable Robert de Niro and Anne Hathaway! Worth watching.
10. Oh, life (Life as We Know It)
“Holly and Eric are disliking each other and lead completely different lifestyles. Everything turns upside down when their mutual friends die in an accident, leaving them in their care of a one-year-old daughter. “
11. Up in the Air
I love this movie, maybe also because I experienced a similar story myself. “Ryan Bingham is a layoff specialist, and traveling takes up a large part of his life.”
12. It’s Kind of a Funny Story
“A depressed teenager is taken to a psychiatric ward, where he is given a chance for a fresh start.” Contrary to appearances – a light and pleasant film, perfect for an evening out.

A classic, you do not need to present it 🙂 But it’s worth knowing that this great movie is currently on Netflix’s offer.
14. Men in Black and and Men in Black II
Classic x 2. I love these movies, I can’t count how many times I’ve seen them! Similar to MIB 3, but this part is not available on Netflix yet. I know many dialogues by heart and I always like to come back to this series.
16. I am not an easy man
And now for something extra – a French comedy that exposes the absurdity of stereotypes and expectations towards women through… gender reversal! Great movie.
17. Jab Harry Met Sejal
Indian movie, but not Bollywood. “Harry, a tourist guide, meets the cheerful lawyer Sejal on one of his trips. The girl asks him to help her find an engagement ring that she lost somewhere in Europe. “

18. Blended
Although I don’t really like Adam Sandler (unless in the movie “Super Dad”), this comedy is really good. “Two seemingly incompatible single parents are coincidentally spending a week in the same African resort.”
19. Grown Ups and 20. Grown Ups 2
“Five childhood friends spend the weekend with their families in a cottage by the lake. During their stay, they come back to their old memories and show the kids how they used to have fun. ” The second part of the film takes place after 3 years.
21. Toc Toc
Spanish comedy. “A group of OCD patients are waiting in a waiting room for a late doctor, trying to deal with eccentric quirks – themselves and others.”
22. A Long Way Down
I really enjoyed this movie! “Several people who want to commit suicide on New Year’s Eve make a pact that they will wait until Valentine’s Day with a decision.”
23. Mouth to mouth
“A young woman comes to her hometown for her sister’s wedding, where she discovers that her family history served as the basis for the plot of The Graduate.” I recommend!
24. The Dictator
Original, hilarious, politically incorrect comedy about a dictator who suddenly has to deal with himself as an ordinary person in New York. Sacha Baron Cohen starring.
25. Bridesmaids
Crazy comedy about a hen party where everything goes wrong. Simple humor, Hangover style, but really funny!
26. Sex and the City II
I don’t think this movie needs to be introduced to anyone 🙂 It’s nice that it’s already on Netflix.
27. Ghostbusters I and II
Classic! “Three parapsychology doctors start a company to combat ghosts. Soon they will have to deal with an ancient evil force taking over the city. “
28. Before the waters are gone (Due Date)
A bit crazy American comedy – nothing ambitious, jokes rather like The Hangover, but you will have a laugh.
29. Bad Teacher

30. Kac Vegas (The Hangover) I, II i III
Some people love The Hangover, others hate it. I usually choose rather more ambitious films, but at The Hangover, I just cried with laughter! The second part (The Hangover in Bangkok) and the third (The Hangover III) are less fun in my opinion, but they are also on Netflix.
