In addition to a map with all equality marches in Poland, this year we also have a calendar of holidays related to LGBTQ + people. For example, in April we have Lesbian Visibility Day, in May we have Pansexuality and Panromantic Awareness Day, and in November we have Polyamorous Day.

We present holidays and days related to the LGBTQ + community also in Poland. Some of these holidays are unofficial events, and of course, it’s almost impossible to celebrate each of them, but it’s worth paying attention to the most important ones, or those that concern you the most.

Non- binary is the term used to describe gender identities that go beyond the division between women and men. Such people do not fit into either of these categories, or to some extent both. This identity does not have to be associated with an androgenic appearance, or with a particular sexual orientation.

Asexuality is the  persistent lack of sexual attraction towards other people . Asexual people may fall in love, be romantically attracted to people of the same or other sex, and form relationships and family.

Intersex people are those who have gender diversity – chromosomal, endocrine, internal and external genital sex. Intersex people have different sexual characteristics that cannot be socially or medically ascribed to the typical “female” or “male” characteristics. It is estimated that intersex people constitute up to 1.7% of the world’s population (according to the UN).
